hideIndex()

MongoDB Driver Function Reference

Hides an index from the query planner.

<collection>.hideIndex(<name>)

Arguments

<collection>		The target collection.
<name>		Index name

Example

db.employees.hideIndex("salary_ix");

Hides the salary_ix index.
